[Student] Yeote Estuelmon "Shadow"

General

Appearance

[Yeote Estuelmon,  appears to be a normal and  thin teenager. He has  messy grey hair on his head that is short enough to not hid his face. His skin is fair in tone. Overall he looks like a normal human unless you gaze into his smoky eyes where you would start to get the startling strange sensation of being sucked into a void.

He dresses to what he has learned from humans for the most part. He wears dark  pants and white tee shirt and black jacket in most non hostile situations. In combat he wears a tight, but not fully form fitting, full garb from his native dressing with light chain mill underneath. Some people relate to a thing called "ninja" would wear.

Normal form:Just your normal state of existence. Minus a shadow.

Shadow form: When Mirage takes on this form he becomes what appears to be a body less shadow. This Shadow form can interact with other shadows. However all normal objects are unable to interact with him. Not limited to walls he can move freely from floor to wall or ceiling to walls and when on the floor he has a point of origin that moves and this is where his feet are.]

Personality

[Yeote is a bit different from the humans that surround him, due to the different culture he grew up in. One of the dominate things about his is his curiosity. He is often sticking his nose in one place or another and this sometimes lands him in trouble. When combined with his lack of knowledge of some customs he occasionally does some rather, well, interesting things, like going into the women's bathroom, because he does not know that he should not do things like that.

When it comes to others he is not very shy in walking up to a random person and talking to them. He is at most a friendly person and believes that he is equal to "normal" humans. While he does think they are a little silly he still respects them and hopes that they will do the same to him. He is willing to come to the aid of anyone who requests it and can be a little bit of stalker to anyone he has grown attached to, but he means it as a friendly jester, not a creepy one.

A come past time of his is to people watch. He likes to go somewhere and then disappear from sight and just watch people interact with each other and go on in their lives. He also likes to play funny tricks on others with magic or his shadow form but tries to keeps his jokes harmless. When he is not joking around or watching people he has a passion for puzzles, strategy, and both normal and shadow obstacle courses.

But Yeote, while it can be hard to see sometimes, has a very serious side. In combat or a not safe situation all jokes stops with him and he expects the same, but the occasional joke is fine by him. He takes requests seriously, and has trouble picking up sarcasm. If you tell him to do something within reason, he most likely will do it. If he likes you he might even do something outside of reason, so be careful when teasing him...

He is also very unknowing about humans and history. This means that he knows no famous people nor many notable events. He treats all people the same from the start and will help anyone in need. He holds honor very highly.

Due to his lonely childhood with out any child friends he is quick to bond to other people. Friendship and many other feelings, including love and hate, are alien to him and he can have trouble identifying his own emotions. He is trusting, but holds grudges and first impressions very strongly.]

History

[Yeote Estuelmon's story begins in a world that is in constant twilight form a different sun, made from different things and gasses, but past this, it was much like our own. It was a living planet filled with different creatures and plants and things. You could see this place, though only for an instant at twilight. It was a world of peace, and wonders; so very close to our own, and the true home of the twilight people. Or so the stories told.

Yeote Estuelmon listened to these stories in his small village of just twilight people and these brought him joy in hearing them. He was your normal kid in the village, the only one in fact that the village had had in a long time. Children were a rare thing, and many couples would never have one. But his parents were blessed enough to be able to rise a healthy young boy. This boy was loved by the entire community and was a little spoiled, never forcing him to grow up.

When he reached the right age he started getting an education in his clan's magic. This was an informal education but he was able to get basic magic down and he was also taught how to change to the shadow form and back and quickly mastered it, or at least thought he was good at it. He was also taught medical skills, some Herbology, along with some survivalist skills that have been taught in the clan for century.

He started to explore out into the woods and found some old ruins of what could have been a fort of some kind. While the place was empty and run down, but he found quite something fun to do with it. At different times of day the lighting would change  and the different areas of the place would accessible if he used his shadow from and used the shadows of the ruins to climb like it was an obstacle course. One day he manged to work his way into one of the towers. He started to explore and disturbed a flock of birds. The birds packed and took off to escape, and he was in the way. The entire flock tried to fly past him and many hit him in their flight to escape. In his eyes the birds attacked him on purpose and so he is slightly afraid whenever a bird gets too close to him.


One time when he was changing form at just the right moment that a certain scenario occurred and he found himself in a different, gold and amber colored world. The Twilight world. But it was only for a few seconds before it all faded, like sweet summer dream. When he tried to tell others about it they mostly rolled their eyes or simply did not believe him. However, one person did, the elder of the group.

The elder was a rather old man, even by twilight men's age, and when Yeote told him his story he simply waved him into his house and showed him a glowing stone. The twilight stone. He had managed to grab it before he was forced out of the twilight world. He gave it to the young boy and sent him to where he had learned to wield magic himself, the Mage Academy, so that Yeote could get a formal and more professorial education and also so he could discover, for both of them, how to reach the twilight world.
